Did Former Yankees Player Aroldis Chapman Just Grope An elderly woman?

The 30-second video was uploaded to the former Texas Rangers reliever’s Instagram stories page. In January, the reliever inked a deal with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

It depicts Chapman curled up against an elderly, gray-haired woman while reclining on a couch. Squeezing each of her breasts, Chapman attempts to wipe his hands away with a gentle touch.

He gives her right breast a kiss over her clothes before he quits reaching with his hands. She looks to be fully dressed, with her legs hidden behind a blanket.

At first, the woman moved his hand away from her chest while they conversed in Spanish with a third person behind the camera. As of Wednesday morning, Chapman’s Instagram Story still included the footage.

Although the woman’s name is unknown, Sports Illustrated reports that some people think she is Chapman’s mother. The lady and an elderly guy are shown together in a different video on Chapman’s Instagram Story, cooking in the kitchen.

The Cuban-born reliever won his first championship with the Chicago Cubs in 2016 before joining the Rangers during their 2023 World Series quest.

For the Rangers, he went 2-3 with four saves and a 3.72 ERA.

Seven-time MLB All-Star Chapman began his career with the Cincinnati Reds and played for them for five years before joining the Yankees for two stints in 2016 and 2017–22.

In October 2015, Chapman, 36, was accused of choking and assaulting his partner after a rumored domestic violence episode. Chapman is said to have fired eight bullets during the incident. Due to discrepancies in witness accounts, Florida police never brought charges, but in 2016 MLB banned him for 30 games.

What is the fastest pitch in history?

Using PITCHf/x, the fastest pitch ever recorded in Major League Baseball, Chapman was timed at 105.1 mph (169.1 km/h) on September 24, 2010, against the San Diego Padres.
